Choose Define Layouts to display the Define Layouts dialog box where you can add, modify, install, and delete layouts for the Address Book Plus file you are working in.  (Other Address Book Plus files will not be affected.)

To add a layout, type the new name in the text box.  Choose one of the four basic layout types.  At this point, the default paper, format, and field options for that layout type are set automatically.  Click Add, and the name of the new layout appears in the list.  Click Done.

If you need to adjust any of the default option settings, click Paper, Format, or Field to open dialog boxes controlling those options.  See the subtopics “Paper Options,” “Format Options” and Field Options” for information on these commands.

To change the name or the layout type of an installed layout, select it from the list on the left.  Type the new name in the text box or select another layout type and click Modify.  Click Done.

To change the Paper, Format, or Field options for an installed layout, select it from the list.  Click the appropriate button and make your changes in the dialog box that appears.  (See the following subtopics for more information.)  Click OK to return to the Define Layouts dialog box.  Then click Done.

To install a layout from the Layout Libraries, click Layout Library.  See the main topic “Layout Library” for more information on installing pre-defined layouts.

To delete a layout, select the layout name from the list and click Delete.  Then click Done.
